Your Journey to a Fulfilling Life

Marjorie Mann’s educational approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach.

Team Leader, My name is Angela, I have been working in childcare for 10 years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and enjoy watching children learn and grow in their own unique way. Through providing experience and inviting warm environments the opportunities are endless. Allowing children to develop vital skills they need for life. I value and enjoy working closely with families as they are the first teachers in children’s lives. In my spare time I am a mum to 3 very energetic boys. We spend our free time at soccer games, swimming, camping and visiting family.

Hello everyone, my name is Noel. I’ve been working as an early childhood educator since 2009. Since then, my passion for working with young children hasn’t stopped. I completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and I have also recently completed a diploma in Child Psychology Diploma Course Level 3 in 2019. I love my job because children remind everyone child is unique in their own way.

My name is Sarah I am studying my Masters of Teaching in Early Childhood. I started working at Marjorie Mann in August 2021 after completing my placement. I love working with children as watching them grow and gain confidence is such a rewarding experience. Children view the world with such wonder; it’s a privilege to gain insight into their perspectives. In my free time I spend as much time as possible with my daughter Lily. I also love yoga, hiking and travel.

Hello families! My name is Richell and I am an educator in Toddler’s room working with two amazing educators Sarah and Noel. I have been in childcare since 2017 and started at Marjorie Mann on 22nd of February 2023. I am an early childhood teacher from the Philippines. I moved to Singapore in 2012 and worked there for 5 years as an early childhood teacher. I moved to Perth in 2016 and it became my second home since. I am lucky to be part of this wonderful team and very excited to get to know all the children, see them grow and importantly have FUN! In my spare time, I go for nature walks or spend time at the park having a coffee and reading a book.

My Teaching Philosophy:

Every child may be different , but they deserve the same opportunity to explore their potential and become the best that they can be. Equipping children with positive character traits and learning dispositions from young enables them to become better members of society. They will come to understand the effect of their own action as they strive to lead healthy, happy, meaningful lives.

Hi my name is Rebekah I’ve been in the early childhood sector for over 17 years, with 14 of those as a qualified educator. Through my experience and ongoing studies in a Bachelor of Social Work, my passion for supporting children and families has only continued to grow. I’ve developed a strong understanding and deep respect for the importance of the early formative years, and I truly value the role that family, community, children’s rights, and play all have in shaping confident, resilient, and emotionally secure little humans. I’m all about creating safe, inclusive spaces where every child feels valued, heard, and supported.

I’m of Tongan and Kiwi heritage, and with that comes a love for rugby – go the mighty All Blacks… unless they’re playing Tonga, because then it’s Mate Ma’a Tonga all the way! Between mum-life, work, study, and family, spare time is pretty rare. But when I do get a moment, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, tackling a DIY project around the house, or my all-time fave – day napping (highly recommend).

Hi my name is Bethany I am the new educator working in the toddler room alongside Angela, Noel, Richell and the team. I have completed both my certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and worked in the industry for 7 years. During this time I have worked across all age groups however found my true passion to be working alongside the 2-3 age group. The challenges and even bigger rewards which come with this age group are why I love my job so much. I get to watch them grow into strong and independent individuals during their time in the space and can be there to support them through challenging milestone moments such as toileting, emotional regulation, and language development etc. Getting to see their confidence and capabilities boom as they develop the skills and language to achieve their goals and reach the next step in their learning journey is so rewarding. Knowing that what I do every day with the children is supporting them to become competent, capable and strong young minds who will one day grow up to influence and make decisions in society is so incredible.

In my spare time I enjoy visiting local markets, hiking, going to see live music and spending time with my family.

I am so lucky to be a part of this lovely little community here at Marjorie Mann and I look forward to getting to know you all better, building strong and meaningful relationships with both you and your child throughout the year.
